OVERVIEW
The Kidde Firex Combination Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detector uses a 120-V AC power source with one nine-V alkaline battery as backup so your home is always protected. This detector will warn you of fire particles and elevated carbon monoxide levels, even if the power is out, with its voice alert system. The green LED lets you know it’s receiving power and the voice will let you know when the battery is low. It can be used solo or interconnected with other alarms to protect your whole house. It meets requirements of UL 2034, UL217, NFPA72, The State of California Fire Marshall, NFPA 101, FHA and HUD.
